can you buy minutes for an iphone
I just updated my iphone 3gs to IOS 6 while on this prepaid plan with the internet workaround and ever since I did the update I cannot send/receive pics via text message.. internet and everything else still work fine.. anyone have any ideas?? Thanks!
I just recently setup my iphone 3gs with ATT prepaid.I bought a $15 go phone and activated the account in the cheap phone. I then took the sim card out put it in my iphone and it did not work. Called ATT support and asked to have the sim unlocked. When I called them I put the sim back in the cheap phone and it was unlocked while I was on the phone with ATT. I then put it back in the iphone and voila!
will work. must use minute/text plan plus a seperate data plan (all prepaid). iphone will not work with the data that is on a unlimited plan for att prepaid. 25$ 250min/unlimited text plus 25$ 500mb data plan equals 50$ bucks, not bad if you never talk on the phone.
I have a question we have been stationed overseas for three years and bought our 3GS iphones here. Can I bring this phoen back to the US and put a prepaid sim card in it or do I need to unlock it since it is an international phone?
I have an iphone 3gs. I purchased what I thought was a refurbed Samsung gophone however when it arrived it was new. The sim is locked to this phone for 6 months. I will get another sim card from an AT&T store.
I want to know if i do this can i use the data package and it wont charge me other charges for data and just use the package. and can i use the 50 dollar unlimited plan on the iphone and the web will work then as well with the mobile data incluted in that plan
Hi I recently found an iphone 3gs i took out the old sim card and i restored it and now it says to please insert a valid sim card with no pin lock i was wondering will a normal At&t pay as you go sim card work on my iphone?
No, no jailbreaking needed. Just activate the go phone using a normal phone, or the go phone it came with. Beware, once you activate it, the sim card will be locked to the go phone for six months, and you have to go to AT&T store to get a new sim that is under the same account ad the go phone to use the sim on the iphone
When I look up Pay as you go lans on ATT I see 2 smart phone options. Would these work with iphone 3GS? They are $2 a day unlimited talk and text or 10 Cents a minute talk plan and you can add text plan 200 texts for $4.99, 1000 texts for $9.99 or Unlimited texts for $19.99. Data plans can be added to both $15 for 100MB and $25 for 500MB. Would these work on the iphone 3GS? There are other plans, but they are not listed as smart phone.
Well, here are tweaks when you jailbreak a phone that youcan install like weather app on the status bar, it refreshes every 5-10 minutes. Even though is not a huge consumption of data, it still uses some.
Picked up a go phone and activated it a few days ago. Used it while my used iphone was in the mail. iphone came today. I put the go phone sim in but no dice? The iphone says no service. How should I proceed?
My brother from Canada just gave me his iphone 4 (unlocked). I have a really old prepaid sim card, bought it when it is still called Cingular, it is a 64k smart chip, do I need to purchase a new 3g sim card in order to work with the iphone?
Hey i have a 3G iphone 8G had bought thre phone using another friends name service the bill got to out of hand sharing the plan got stuck with the phone do not want to get rid of it but can i buy a pay as you go 3G wireless that way i can still use my wireless on the phone and pay per month and not have to connect to any unlocked wireless network around me?
I am thinking of purchasing a friends iphone. He upgraded to a torch so I believe the iphone is off of his account. I would like to use it on att prepaid. My only question is what about activating it through itunes? Does this process bypass that? Thanks for your help!
I just bought the $20 unlimited data plan for an iphone-gophone.. At first it wouldnt work then I came accross this website and it seems to be working VERY well. THANK you a ton for figuring this out. I was going nuts. Im omw to AT&T to pick up another data plan thing for my girlfriend..
I think I am in the same situation. I have an iphone 3g at the end of its contract. I would like to keep the number on the iphone but switch to prepaid Go Phone minutes and worry about the data plan later.

You can get these minutes from prepaid phones, regular mobile carriers, calling cards, and other options. Try any of these options to add money or airtime to your cellphone if you want to make a call.
You can recharge your phone online by visiting your service provider's website or mobile app and adding money to your balance. This can then be used to add airtime or minutes to your credit or automatically charge by the provider if you are making a call. Providers such as Tracfone and Verizon offer this service, but only to their customers. Boss Revolution can let you top up airtime on any number all over the world through their website.
To add minutes with cash, visit your local retailer and buy a prepaid card that can be added to your phone through a code or a toll-free number (depending on the service provider you have). There are many providers such as Verizon and Tracfone that offer prepaid card services. These minutes can be purchased with cash from a retailer at a fixed rate.
Most service providers have mobile apps that you can use to add minutes, top up your balance and subscribe to the package. For example, the Verizon or Tracfone app will let you top up balance or buy packages, but only specific to the service provider.
The Boss Revolution Calling App lets you top up money and then purchase packages for service providers worldwide, making it the one-stop solution to buy minutes for phone calls. Download the Boss Revolution Calling App and learn how you can start calling anywhere in the world.
Please note that the Tracfone website does give you the option to add minutes to your dedicated Tracfone number but does not allow you to send money to any other service provider. If you want to add balance to your mobile or even a friend's number, you need to ensure that the service provider is Tracfone.
More often than not, service providers offer free minutes and promotions to their new clients to call internationally. These promo offers are periodic and can be used by the customer at any time. However, please note that your service provider typically starts charging you once the minutes from the promo offer have been used.
In conclusion, you need airtime in your mobile balance to make calls to people. All service providers offer their consumers top-ups, minutes, and packages for them to use. Boss revolution lets you top up mobile networks from all over the world, allowing them to buy minutes or packages.
The iPhone 11 is not waterproof, but it does have a water-resistance rating of IP68. According to Apple, that means the iPhone 11 can withstand being submerged in six feet of water for up to 30 minutes, while the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max can be submerged in 13 feet of water for 30 minutes.
According to Apple, it might take up to 24 hours for your iPhone to fully dry. You should wait at least 30 minutes before charging your iPhone 11 with a lightning cable, otherwise, you can permanently damage it. For wireless charging, make sure the back of the smartphone is dry before placing it on top of the charging device.
The quickest way to charge your iPhone is with a fast charger: a 20-watt power adapter with a USB-C to Lightning cable. As long as you own an iPhone 8 or later, you can fast-charge your phone from dead back up to around 50% battery in about 30 minutes. If you have an hour to spare, you can fully charge it. Even just 10 minutes of fast charging can boost your battery by double digits, so if you're short on time, always go for the fast charger option.
The second-fastest way to charge your iPhone is with Apple's MagSafe charger and a 20-watt power adapter, but for this to work you must own either an iPhone 12 or an iPhone 13 to get the faster 15-watt wireless charging. If your iPhone is dead, you should get to around 30% battery in about 30 minutes of wireless charging.
Now that I was there I only had a few minutes before the phone would restart so I had to act fast but there were so many different dump types that I had no idea what the names meant. Some were app specific referencing the AMC Theaters app while others were Aggregates from the day prior. I was able to see that there were a lot more dumps from one specific type, and that was called Panic-Full. This got even more interesting when I looked at the most recent timestamped file under the many many panic-full files that were dated and timed the EXACT MINUTE the phone turned off and subsequently turned on. 041b061a72
